FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Find clear answers to common questions about the course, learning format, and certification.

What is the eligibility to appear for the AOR Exam?

You must be enrolled with a State Bar Council, have a minimum of 4 years of legal practice, and have completed 1 year of training under an AOR approved by the Supreme Court.

Will I receive mock tests?

Yes. After completing the course content, you will receive mock tests mirroring the actual AOR exam pattern. These are evaluated by practising AORs who provide detailed, written feedback.

Do I get physical study material?

Yes. Hard-copy reading material and real Supreme Court drafts are couriered directly to your doorstep.

Is there an offline component to the course?

Yes. All enrolled learners get access to 1 offline workshop before the exam date for in-person preparation and direct interaction with mentors.

How is this different from self-studying with bare acts and case law?

This course is taught by AORs who have cleared the exam themselves. Sessions are mapped directly to what the exam tests and not just what the syllabus lists. The drafting sessions and mock tests provide practice under exam conditions, which is what most self-study approaches miss.

What is the pass rate for the AOR Exam?

In 2025, more than 1,500 advocates appeared for the AOR Exam, and only 207 cleared it. Out of these, 10 were learners from Bettering Results. Additionally, 12+ BR learners cleared the exam in 2024. This results in a 70%+ success rate across just two batches.

Is this course live or pre-recorded?

Both. The course is hybrid with recorded sessions and live weekend sessions. You also get recording access for 2 years to revisit any session.

How long is the course and what is the time commitment?

The course runs for 3 months. It follows a hybrid model with pre-recorded sessions. On average, expect 2–3 hours per week.
